Ludicious Games releases Reiner Knizia's Topas on iTunes AppStore

Harleysville, Pennsylvania - February 2, 2010 -- Ludicious Games has released its first product, Reiner Knizia's Topas, on the iTunes AppStore.

Initially published as a card game in 2009, Reiner Knizia's Topas for the iPhone and iPod Touch takes the genius of one of the world's leading game designers and re-imagines it for the world's leading mobile handheld platform.

This tile-laying puzzler challenges players-on-the-go with three exciting modes of play. In the "Arcade" mode, players place the gem-laden dominoes to create connected rows or columns of 7 or less gems. When a tile is placed to create a connected row or column of exactly 7 gems, they disappear to make room for more tiles. Initially, there are only 4 different colored gems. As more and more tiles get cleared, the action gets more tense as additional colors are added.

Weakest Link mode challenges players who are pressed for time to play 4 quick games with 8 tiles each. The second lowest score of the four games counts.

Color Mode challenges players to delicately balance their tile play by deviously forcing them to score at least 10 points in all 4 colors before they may progress to score more.

Agon OnLine Leaderboards allow players to see how their skills stack up against their friends and players worldwide.
